2014 Dress Up Attack will play host to a range of musical, art and food adventure.
Performing their first show in Sydney since forever, this much-loved Sydney band still features founding members Jodi Phillis and Trish Young. The band rose to prominence on the crest of a new wave in Australian music during the early ‘90s courtesy of their unforgettable vocal harmonies and guitar lines and are thrilled to be performing for fans and their offspring at this year’s Dress Up Attack.
The much-loved jumping castle returns with a soundtrack in 2014. Supplied by Heaps Decent co-founder and Ro Sham Bo member Andrew Levins, the Levins’ Jumping Castle DJ Set will get your kids bouncing to the beatz.
AWESOME PEOPLE READING BOOKS
After a very successful debut last year The Awesome People Reading Books Stage will return to Dress Up Attack! Watch this space for the line up of musicians, authors and local heros' reading their favourite children's books.
Did somebody say Dance?!
The wonderful peeps from Dance Central will run a few dance workshops throughout the day.
No need to book – just join in!
Menu includes: Portuguese chicken, chips, steak sandwich, BBQ pork belly, sausages, salads and rice. And a homemade Portuguese vege option.
Phil Jamieson’s WoodenSpoon; a new, preschooler-approved undertaking by the former front man of Grinspoon, Phil’s WoodenSpoon will be performing a mix of Grinspoon songs tailored for the Dress Up Attack audience plus newer material penned by Jamieson with his two daughters.
Zoo Boyz (an entertaining mix of extremely clever animals that includes a Penguin, a Giraffe, a Seal, a Gorilla and a Kangaroo) will be rounding out the musical line up in 2014. Zooboyz will charm younger members of Dress Up Attack’s audience.

THE CREEPY CRAWLY ADVENTURE MAZE
Come and explore the wonderful creation of multidisciplinary artist Alli Sebastian Wolf. The Creepy Crawly Adventure Maze where kids will meet and play with giant insects and participate in a series of activities to complete their creepy crawly adventure.
Using genuine His Master’s Voice wind up Gramophone Players, the Gramophone Man plays all the songs from the 20′s 30′s and 40′s. Plus, he dances.
RUFINO AND THE COCONUTS
Rufino & The Coconuts will also be performing at DUA 2014. With their unique euro-melodic stylings mixed with Jamaican Rock-steady and island-holiday-pop, Rufino & The Coconuts promise a wild, musical Voodoo ritual.
Yes – THE Jimmy Giggle will be on site for some meeting and greeting. He's not shy of the camera or having a jump on the castle too!
PAINT WHAT YOU HEAR WORKSHOP
Paint What You Hear workshops are directed by musician Erica Rasmussen. Children learn about the elements of music and how to capture sound on paper. Participants are then invited to let loose with paint-rock duo Afterwhite to create group canvases. Afterwhite (drums & guitar) play original music while they paint. The workshops are engaging, fun and messy!
Pizza Pizza Pizza!
Massimo Mele is an award winning, Sydney based chef who has cooked around the world. Massimo has cooked for Elton John, Hugh Jackman, John Travolta, Beyoncé and Jay Z – the list goes on. At Dress Up Attack! Massimo will be making pizza as well as offering a KIDS PIZZA WORKSHOP!
Gelato Messina will be at Dress Up Attack! Yes its true! They'll be hosting the Sundae Station where kids can decorate their own gelato. What a scoop hey!
We understand that daytime sleeping plays an important role in the planning of your day, and we do our best to accommodate this and get the program up as early as possible.
